The kids being in school is the biggest help! My biggest problem is procrastination! You just have to focus on the fact that when they are in school, let the housework and other things go and do the "work". You can get those other things done when they are home but get as much of your job done as possible when they are out. I know for a fact that I am not a reliable employee so I became an artist and work on my own scheduale. We have a varied and weird scheduale too so I know how you feel. Still its better than the 9 to 5...good luck!
