Wyatt is usually up by 6:30.
He eats breakfast, and then we go to the gym for my 8:15 spinning or Body Pump class (my gym has an AWSOME childcare center in it). We’re at the gym for about 1 ½ hours, and on the way home I usually run any errands I have (Wal-Mart, Target, Post Office, etc…)
Wyatt usually falls asleep on the way home, so I let him sleep in the car until he wakes up; which is usually about 30 minutes. (We have an attached garage, so I just close the garage door, open the car door, and open the doors from the garage to the laundry room and hallway, so I can hear him when we wakes up.
We’re usually home by 10:30 or 11:00; at which time I make lunch for Wyatt.
After that we play a little bit and then he usually goes down for a nap about 1:00 (give or take). He is a HORRIABLE nap taken, so his naps are only for about an hour…on a good day he’ll sleep for 1 ½ hours! I shower while he’s napping and clean up the house and/or do laundry. I wish I could take a nap while he’s napping, but if I do; then the house would never get cleaned and the laundry would never get done! I guess the shower/bath that I take while he’s napping is my “me time”.
When he wakes up I give him a snack, and then he plays with his toys.
We sometimes go for a walk in the late afternoon and/or play outside.
I then start to prepare dinner…about which time my husband comes home from work and takes over watching Wyatt.
Nothing too exciting, but I’m so lucky that I get to stay home with him!
