do you have a toddler AND pets? how does your little one do with your animals? my 15 month old LOVES the kitty. but doesn't really know how to play nicely....well, he is "learning" bc the cat seems to be teaching him how to stay in line. lol. when the baby is gentle, the kitty will sit still for him. if he gets rough, the kitty seems to "discipline" the baby but gently pawing his arm or giving him a quick little bite (not hard, the baby doesn't even cry). i think it is so weird that the cat seems to be teaching him how to be gentle with a cat. lol. if i were that cat, and i saw my baby coming, i'd hop up and run away. but that's just me. how are your pets reacting? how are your toddlers doing with the pets?
