Anyone else?

I'm a 40-something mom to a preschooler. Being a parent to a little one is great, but I find that I'm a little older than the parents of the other kids his age. Are they any other 40-something parents out there?

Add me to the list...I'm 40 and just had my first (and only) child last December. My husband is actually 62 so combined we're REALLY old parents! We have tried for 15 years to have a baby and last December we were blessed through the miracle of IVF with a beautiful daughter. But I will admit it puts us in a weird place...lots of our friends are waving bye bye to college age kids and some are welcoming grandkids so not a lot of commraderie there...LOL

Yeah, it's interesting. The moms of my son's friends are mostly younger than me and my friends who are my age are becoming empty nesters!
