My sixteen year old has dated since she was 14., starting out with group dates. She is a sophomore in HS and ALWAYS wants to date boys that are older than she. Her past three boyfiends have been 18 and Seniors (we found out 1 was a freshman in college. we stopped that). She says the boys her age are to imature and silly. While that may be true, 18 yer olds are just in a different place in their life and it bothers her father and I.

When she goes out with friends or boyfriends her father and I want their full names, phone numbers, where they live and the parents names. My daughter feels that at sixteen she is too old for us to ask for all that information and that it is imbarrassing for her to have to ask for it. I want to know whom my daughter is with and if for some reason we need to contact her or something happens we have contact info and parents names.

Is this out of line to want this information about my 16 year old daughter's friends?
