Default Potty Training

Ok, dd is 15 months but the other day she was in the bathroom with me (follows me everywhere with only spiratic spirts of independence) I handed her a square of tp. She knew what to do with it! So, we bought a potty chair and set it up yesterday and let her get use to it. This morning I set her on it and she peed!!!! It took like 5 seconds!!!! Yipee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I just have to keep this going!

YEAH! I must admit I am a little jealous.....I keep hearing that girls are SO much easier to train than boys. I'd give just about anything to potty train my 15 month old ds. lol! nevermind my 3 year old ds! lol. anyway...good luck with that! I have known MANY girls who have trained this young and been fully trained by 18 months....which I think it amazing. Just think...soon you may not need to buy diapers. ahhhh......

I hope we are potty trained by 18 months but I don't see that happening, I'm hoping 100% by 2yrs old. I'm not pushing it but we are getting 3-4 successes every day. I'll just keep taking her in there and just keep consistant. One of my nephews started about this age. He's just over 2 and not 100% (mostly just at night) but getting there but I also have a 3yr old nephew that is maybe 20% pottytrained. It really is (mostly) what the parents do (the 3yr old's mom doesn't do hardly anything with him to potty train him but the 2yr old's mom started early and just kept on him to try but never made a big deal if he couldn't go).
