my first preschooler watched no more than 30 minutes a day, VERY often it was none at all. my second preschool watched 30-60 minutes a day, and my new toddler watches 60-90 minutes. lol. with each kid, i just need a little more time to ______. fill in the blank- bathe another kid, make lunch, pay bills, etc...and with three kids so different in age, i confess i use the tv as a babysitter. my opinion is it should be no more than 30 minutes per day- one show. but my opinion and what i do seem to differ....especially depending on the day. i will say that for the most part, we only watch pbs and educational videos. not a whole lot better, but better.
