Default Hello

I was just wondering if there are any other stay at home Moms here? My son is almost 15 months old. He was born November 28, 2007; he was 9 lbs 14 oz and was 22 inches long. I look forward to hearing from more SAHM's!

I'm not a SAHM but a WAHM but I just had to comment on the birthdays. My youngest son was born November 24, 2007. He was a week and a day early after a very complicated pregnancy.

Do I fit here? I'm currently on maternity leave which ends in May, however we haven't decided if I am returning yet. I'm enjoying every moment with them now and would love to be able to stay with them for a few years. Only time and money will tell at this point.

Hi there! I'm a SAHM of one little guy. I took a leave of absence when we adopted him and just never went back! I'm loving it.

my son was also born in november 2007. i am so lucky i get to stay home with him! my favorite part of the day is when he wakes up from his nap, and i walk in his room and he yells at me, "DAD!" all excited....i keep trying to tell him my name is Mom...but he doesn't seem to care. lol. i love it. i think i'll actually be a little sad the day he really calls me mom! lol. i LOVE the age 15 months! they are so adorable!

Wow, there's quite a few of us SAHM's! It looks like we have several November 2007 babies here!

I have to agree with you "mommatomany", I love the 15 month old age!

Hello!

I wasn't planning on being a SAHM (although I really wanted to) since we didn't think we could afford it. But I noticed that we ended up with more money while I was on maternity leave than we usually had when I was working. The I got fired and the more I thought about it, the more I thought we might be able to make it work. I'm still adjusting to being home all day and it's a little tougher since DH works 6pm-6am on the days he works.. so on those days, I'm alone with Katy all day while DH is sleeping and then all night too while he is working. I have discovered that I was definitely NOT cut out to be a single mom I have major respect for all the single moms out there.

Oh yeah.. Katy was born Nov. 26th 2008 weighing 8lb 4oz and measuring 20.5" long.

yes i am a sahm to two wonderful kids, well most of the time. my son is at the 2yr old tanrums and gets into everthing, but heres the good part he is now able to learn to pick up his toys and he know where to throw trash away, he is learning to go potty in his potty. my daughter is learning how to crawl and it is nice that my son "helps" me with her. They wake up around 5 and start laughing and play with toys together. It is nice to be my own boss but it is hard not having adult conversations, being free to go out and about. My husband is a truck driver so he isnt home much. So it was nice working 8 hrs a day as where now i work 24/7. it is tough at times but the tough times is what makes it better later in life. I hope all sahm enjoy the time they have with there kids. my mom only got to know me for a year. I am thankful everyday i get to spend with my kids. my son was born march 8th 6lbs 11 oz 22in my daughter was born may 11th 7lbs 2 oz 21in I am still learning how to do with out much sleep
