Default Not sure how to address the things my son is buying

I discovered by accident my son buying women's make up, clothes, shoes, jewelry. I discovered a box under his bed when he was in 9th grade that had a pair of women's underwear, bra and shirt. I did not say anything and took it. My son appears to be a normal male by all respects but has never had a girlfriend as he is very shy. Well he is 19 yrs old and I went to get the cat brush in his room I found all kinds of things women use in his drawer as he is working and has the money to purchase such things. I got scared and looked under the bed and found boxes of women's boots, underwear and shirts. Ok I cried.

He hangs out with the guys and seems normal in evey aspect! The articles are not used and just sit in a drawer and in boxes under his bed! What is this? I do not want to approach him without knowing what to say! I love him with all my heart and no matter what, I will always be there by his side. I just do not know how to talk to him about it. I sincerely want to make him feel at ease talking about it and if we can both work at a resolution. I know he likes girls because of who he is in contact on facebook. What do I do? I dont want to say something stupid and push him to the edge. I want him to know I am there for him no matter what! Please can somebody shed some light as to how I approarch this topic? This is very scary for a divorced mom and his dad dropped out of his life after being there for 14 years, his loss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please can someone helps us? My son is very fragile emotionally. If I need to keep my mouth shut I will!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly, if he is 19 years old and buying things with his own money it is his own business. Personally I wouldn't say anything.
